Good choice: My experience: lexapro is on the leading edge. It is a more precisely made molecule, derived from celexa. Acts more quickly than the typical ssri wait for 3-4 weeks and find it works fully in 1-2 weeks per a given dose regimen. Side effect profiles same as other ssri's. Other ssri's good too. I like to stay away from paxil (paroxetine) as found it too short acting-> irritability/anxiety. Talk to ur doc.
