Haven't been active in a while. went walking and heart rate got up to 160 when walking up hills and such. stayed at about 130 throughout walk. normal?

Your heart rates: probably reflect your deconditioned state. If you continue to experience these findings with activity it might be a good idea to be evaluated by a health care provider and have blood work to confirm your endocrine system is normal.
