Aic isn't valid: if you are looking for how THREE days of an adjustment changed it. It takes a month for a change to be reflected in the aic that is valid (aic takes a month to fully change). BUT 6.6 is good. Healing might be impaired by just a high sugar but mostly it is lack of circulation and while there is LESS with a good aic, circulation could still be bad. Metformin may be a good preventative in any case.
