It can help, but....: There are many potential causes for insomnia. Did your doctor explain why Clonazepam was prescribed? It is important that a complete evaluation be performed to rule out other medical conditions. Sleep hygiene practices should also be reviewed. Using Clonazepam can cause habituation, which has its own set of problems. There are other medications available that are effective but without the risk.
