45 minutes: Best not to take anything addicting for sleep as they tend to become less effective over time and may become dependent on them.Try melatonin 3 mg at night,exercise more and limit or eliminate caffeine.If taking something may take 30 minutes to 1 hour to go thru stomach and get asorbed.
