About

Bio

I completed a dual residency in internal medicine and psychiatry. I did a brief stint in academics, then worked as a hospital and community mental health psychiatrist. Currently my work involves me in a variety of settings, including private practice, in a psychiatric partial hospital program, and as a consultant in a specialized substance abuse/mental health treatment program assisting people released from prison to successfully transition to community living. I manage patients suffering from a wide range of mental health conditions. My approach to treatment stems from the belief in the significance of the mind/body connection.
