I had a genioplasty 3 years ago. i hit the underside of my chin with a barbell. it broke the skin and is slightly swollen. should i be worried?

Likely not: If the chin feels intact without any movement in the area of surgery, you should be fine. Monitor the swelling and keep it clean. Ice for the 1st 24 hours will help. Ibuprofen 4x day for 3-5 days will help with pain and swelling. If it looks infected, see your surgeon. Good Luck.
