My asthma is dormant for 20yrs now.but whenever i get emotional or cry alot or laugh harder it triggers.what's the connection of the two?

Neurokinins: Emotional stress induces the release of certain neurokinins which can trigger asthma but would not cause asthma per se. I do suspect that your asthma has been subclinical (lungs still abnormal but not causing symptoms) and not totally gone away all these years. It is best to get a lung function test when you feel well to see if you need Rx even without symptoms.
