Needs to be: seen in person or virtually for proper diagnosis. Is it painful, how long has it been there? A simple history and physical exam will be able to give the correct answer and treatment needed, if any!

I see spots.....: When black spots appear on the bottom of the foot, and they are not related to dirt or blood trapped under the skin, then they need to be seen by a physician. Visualizing the toe is the best way to evaluate and initiate subsequent treatment.
