A member asked:

Which is better for seasonal allergies: nasal steroid sprays like dymestra or steroid injections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergy nasal sprays: Steroid injections are not appropriate treatments for seasonal allergies. Usually, a combination of antihistamines and nasal sprays can be helpful. Steroid nasal sprays reduce inflammation inside the nose in order to allow improved breathing. They must be used daily and they take about 1 week to achieve peak efficacy.
