Pain management: I have seen it get painful enough that the patients need to go on crutches and use a full leg brace to limit stress on the knees. You are correct that this should be over soon, and that is a good thing.What you may not like is the fact you may sometimes have to stop most physical activity and take anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen to manage the pain.I can't offer anything else.
