Gum recession: See a local dentist, preferably a Periodontist to evaluate the cause of the gum recession, discuss treatment alternatives and suggest the best home care regimen to minimize further recession. Each case is different and requires personal attention.

What you should do: What you should do is see a gum/bone Specislist, a Periodontist, to determine the cause of the recession (and underlying bone loss), whether recession can be halted or corrected, whether these areas are indicative of other gum problems, and what is individualized oral hygiene techniques that are best for you. Your problem's resolution is not as simple as choice of toothbrush.
