Call the doctor: If you're having a cough on a new medicine-I would be concerned for allergy. You should try to look in the back of your throat-if it looks swollen at all, you need emergency medical treatment. I would call the doctor in fact if you have doubts. Sometimes allergy can take the form of throat or voicebox swelling which might present initially as a cough. Hopefully it's just nothing but need more info
