Treated for pleurisy 2 weeks ago with steroids and amoxicillin. i am worse now with pain/shortness of breath, dry throat and cough and nasal congestion.

Exam: Get an immediate chest xray to rule out a pneumonia or lung abcess. You should be improving. You may need a pulmonary fuction test for asthma and a lung scan if you are taking female hormones or birth control, get rechecked asap!
