If your infection: is controlled, your spleen enlargement will eventually resolve. But it might take a few months. If you are having difficulty breathing, it could be from another cause.

Enlarged spleen: If u indeed have an enlarged spleen you have a very serious problem. You are at serious risk of very serious injury (rupture) and massive internal bleeding and even death. You should see a surgeon immediately. You may have other serious medical issues secondary to an enlarged spleen. You should be worked up for these and treated appropriately.
