Depression: 37 year old lady with depression and anxiety feeling a decrease in effectiveness. Speak with your prescribing physician. It is possible to go up on the dose of sertraline, however you can also add another drug called abilify (aripiprazole) that has been shown to help with treatment resistant depression. Please try cognitive behavioral therapy as well and believe in yourself- you can and will get better.

Depression: Please seek an evaluation with a psychiatrist for your depression. It may be that you were not on a sufficient dose of sertraline, or it might be something else, but this warrants an evaluation. Good luck!
