A member asked:

If you have uterine fibroids causing your lack of period, how much do they effect your ability to get pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Usually fibroids cause heavier prolonged bleeding rather than stopping your period. If the size of the fibroid is large, it can affect your odds of getting pregnant. A ultrasound can identify the size and location of the fibroid. See your GYN if you have not been able to get pregnant despite trying. Best wishes Dr M
