My 3.5 year old son fell and bumped his head. he threw up immediately and has thrown up twice in the past 2 hours. all other signs that we read about seem fine and he said he felt ok. is the vomiting cause for concern?

Call doctor's office: It might be, especially if the fall was high or the impact was with a very hard surface. I would contact your physician immediately or go to ER. Vomiting more than once after a head injury is a red flag, especially if your child seems irritable, sleepy, confused, clumsy, quiet or has weakness or unequal sized pupils. Obviously I cannot examine your child so I must be cautious. Seek immediate care.
