My 7 year old fell on the grass and then fainted shortly after. she did not bump her head hard or anything. she fell on her stomach, and seems fine now. she is chatty and says she feels fine. should i be concerned? its never happened before?

Observe: Keep her well hydrated. Observe her behavior, balance and coordination. Watch for signs of listlessness, vomiting and if anything changes, please see a physician.

ER: A child fainting for the first time could be something very serious like a seizure or a heart problem or something benign. The site is for a general information only anybody passing out should have prompt valuation in an emergency department
