Moderate risk: Definitely tell the Dr. - it's not likely to be critical but you may be sensitive to the mix. Don't take risks like driving and do ask for alternative w/ less risk. Or, better yet - try therapy to lessen need for drugs. It can be more effective than drugs alone.

Caution: Lexapro (escitalopram) + Klonopin can interact to increase side effects of both meds, eg, dizziness, drowsiness, confusion. Review with prescribing doctor right away to consider dose and/or med change. Also avoid alcohol and any recreational drug use. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Slow down: Starting these medicines so close to one another makes it hard to know whether it's one medicine, the other, or the interaction of the two. When possible, it's often best to start one medicine, see how you respond, and then decide if you need to add a second medicine.
