Yes.: There are two ways Tarlov Cysts can be best seen radiographically. MRI is the test of choice. But CT Myelogram can also be very helpful. The MRI can clearly show the cyst compressing one of the nerves, L5 or S1 that contributes to the Sciatic Nerve. If you are telling me that your Tarlov Cyst measures 2 cm then you must also have had an MRI. Moreover, a cyst that measures 2 cm is very large.
