A member asked:

If burning is from a uti, can it be constant, or will it only occur when urinating? (i have almost constant burning, and intense pain when urinating).

Sounds more like: a yeast infection, if the pain is constant. If it is a UTI, there is usually an increased frequency and urgency to urinate. With a yeast infection, there may be visible redness at the urethra and white discharge. In a severe UTI, the bladder and urethra can also be inflamed, urine will usually be cloudy and have a bad odor. I would recommend going to a clinic for a simple urine test.
