Other causes...: Urinary tract infection is one of the most common causes of burning with urination. Other infections, such as gonorrhea or chlamydia (not strictly utis) are also causes. Urinary tract stones from the kidney or bladder can cause irritation and pain. Other uncommon causes are urethral obstruction, or painful bladder syndrome (pbs). See your physician for a full evaluation.

Irritation : Any type of irritation such is soap, certain chemicals, even hormonal changes can cause burning with urination. If the urinalysis is negative it maybe 1 of these reasons.
