Can a uti present very suddenly and severely but without discharge, odor, burning or cloudy urine? just pain to where i can't lay down at all

Possible but..: Sudden severe pain needs to be evaluated. A bladder infection is certainly one possibility. Appendicitis is another and is life threatening. Severe pain where someone can not even lie flat should be evaluated urgently by their doctor or emergency room.
