Dermatologist: If you have hives EVERY DAY FOR MORE THAN 6 WEEKS you have CHRONIC URTICARIA. This is NOT AN ALLERGY. What did the allergist say? Avoid aspirin, alcohol, and any unnecessary pills of any kind. Take cetirizine [Zyrtec] unless it makes you sleepy. Begin at 1 a day. Some people need 2 or 3 or 4 a day. There are other remedies. See a dermatologist, not an allergist.
