Truncated question: But anyways, if you can do without the hydroxyzine for the said period before your allergist appointment that would be fine, otherwise just keep taking it to control your symptoms. The reason we ask people to hold any antihistaminic before the appointment is in case an allergy skin prick test is needed, but in your case the doctor will evaluate you and probably ask for blood allergy test if needed
