Exam: A comprehensive eye exam including dilation of the pupils will be helpful to elucidate the reason she's seeing black spot(s) in her vision. Otherwise I would merely be guessing and there could be something going on that's particularly important to manage. Have her See an ophthalmologist. Best of luck.
