Need next step: Perhaps a sonohysterogram with an endometrial biopsy or a hysteroscopy/dilatation and curettage. The purpose is to evaluate your uterine cavity and get a sample of the lining of the uterus. The most important item to rule out is cancer of the uterus, however, thankfully, this is not the most common, there is a 90-95% chance that it is not cancer. Best Wishes
