Yes: You can take ibuprofen and flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) together. If the pain is from swelling in a joint the flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) won't really help you much (it is a muscle relaxer). It does make you drowsy so if you can't sleep it might be useful. The ibuprofen will help with the inflammation and pain

You can: Watch the amount of ibuprofen you take if you have had peptic ulcer disease as this could increase the problem. Also a side effect of flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is to make someone very sleepy. Take it cautiously as it may affect your performance and do not take while driving.
