Yes: In a word, yes. Babies have different personalities and some will be quite comfortable with strangers, but it's not at all unusual for infants to only be happy when held by their parents. There is no need to worry, as he'll outgrow this over time. For now, no need to push this; you can rest assured that he will become more comfortable with strangers over time, though it may take several months!
