It may: It depends on the cause of your ear pain. If it is related to your teeth then likely. If is is a separate problem then another antibiotic may be a better choice. Be checked. All the best.

May Need Evaluation: Infections related to lower back teeth have been known to give earache, since nerve to the teeth & nerve to the ear meet in an common nerve ganglione. The pain in the ear should gradually reduce as your healing in the extraction site progresses. If the earache persists, you may want to consult ENT doctor, for evaluation of your ear.
