Unclear: A recent trial to examine this drug was suspended and trials of other drugs have not shown efficacy. Importantly, she should speak to her doctor for help managing her blood sugars to reduce the risk of further diabetic complications. There are alternatives to helping reduce the the severity of the tinnitus as well as associated side effects of the tinnitus. Please have her speak with her doctor.

My mom (72) just had blood work done by an ent to look at reasons for hearing loss. All blood work, including CRP, was normal except ESR was 54. She had fluid in her ear a few weeks. Feels healthy. Could this ESR a sign of something bad like cancer?
