Ask the doctor!: You don't give enough information. But with both diabetes and thyroid function on your doctor's mind, I would wonder if you are obese, which increases diabetes risk and is sometimes (but rarely) due to under active thyroid. But I'm only guessing. Your doctor should have explained it to you -- but if she didn't, just ask.
