Sinusitis: There is no way to diagnose this without seeing you, but this does not sound typical for chronic sinus infection. There are numerous causes for chronic runny noses, often related to allergy. Many people get this after eating and after diagnosis it is manageable by dietary adjustment or OTC meds. Headaches,runny nose: The answer to all the questions you asked is YES. Suggest you search for the cause of your chronic sinusitis. There are many causes. Rule out allergies and infection. Do not smoke. Suggest you learn to rinse your nose using a neti pot (goggle it).

Sinus-mucus: You can have clear mucus/ no mucus in Chronic Sinusitis. Patient might have Post Nasal Drainage that could cause more of cough or sore throat. The dilemma is when Sinusitis doesn't drain which increase the pressure in sinuses , followed by fatigue, headaches +vertigo. The winter increases dry , high heat in houses +drying the sinuses. Need more humidification/saline nasal +vaporizer to drain
