Why?: It is not sub lingual so will take a while to dissolve with bad taste. What is the point of this?

It's a wise idea: To take medications as prescribed for a multitude of reasons. If your valium was not prescribed to be taken by placing it under your tongue, but you’re still having symptoms/side effects/etc, please discuss this with your prescriber such that he/she can address your ongoing issues and make medication adjustments accordingly. Good luck!

Sure, but it is not: designed to be absorbed sublingually. Saliva will dissolve it, and it will not taste good, so consider swallowing it with water soon after putting it in your mouth, as directed.

Valium sublingual: Check with prescribing doctor before changing the route of administration. Not clear why you want to take Valium under your tongue.

Just swallow: Not aware of any successful sublingual Valium, so, just swallow pill as directed by your physician.

No: Valium is best taken as a pill and is absorbed st the right pace in the stomach. It may cause extra sedation and an erratic response if used any other way. Under tongue NOT advised .
