Unlikely: Dry mouth is not a listed side-effect from Hiprex. However, it might be a rare unlisted side-effect. You could try to discontinue Hiprex & have Ur Dr. prescribe a different urinary antibiotic, if necessary. Or your Dr might suggest taking Macrodantin (nitrofurantoin) at night after sex, as well as controlling constipation, avoiding thong underwear, taking showers rather than baths,measures to reduce risk of UTIs.
