This is common: Bumps may form in the mouth from food irritation, especially after eating salty, spicy or sour foods. There can be a mild burn injury from hot foot or drinks or accidental biting. A canker sore, caused by immune or vitamin deficiency, stress, etc is usually painful. I suspect a mucous cyst caused by some salivary gland damage. You can watch and not worry. If larger, painful, ulcerated, see Doc:)
