had cortisone shot in knee 3 days ago.is it normal to still have pain or does it take longer for the shot to take into effect?how long does it take?

1-2 days: Usually, if a cortisone shot is going to work it usually takes about 1-2 days. If it did not work in your case you may want to contact your doctor to discuss other treatment options.
