Hi, i had a cortisone shot 5.days ago in knee but still have pain to the touch. i have bursitis is it normal to still have pain after 5 days thanks ?

Cortisone: Even a properly performed cortisone injection can take up to a week or more to really take effect. If you are having any symptoms of infection, such as redness, warmth at the injection site, drainage, swelling see your doctor for treatment. Otherwise, give it a couple more days for the cortisone to take effect.
