I have ibs and recently have started feeling nauseous when i need a bowel movement. when i have a bm the nausea subsides. this is a new symptom.

Nausea: This reflexive reaction to the urge to have a bm isn't too unusual when the bm is somewhat urgent as often happens in IBS syndrome which actually can affect the entire gastrointestinal tract to some degree.
