Lip lesion: The most likely diagnosis is herpes simplex(cold sore) in view of the evolution of a crusting appearance. Ask your pharmacist for an over the counter cream to apply, but if you prefer a more definitive diagnosis and, if it's a herpes, a prescription can be given for antivirus acyclovir or valtrex (valacyclovir).
