Fluconazole no good: Candida krusei usually is resistant to fluconazole. It's just bad luck, probably with no implications for your general health. You just need a different drug, and also should avoid other "azole" drugs. Unfortunately, C. krusei also can be resistant to some of the common alternate drugs. Ask your doctor about trying nystatin or caspofungin. Your strain can be tested to know which drugs are active.
