600-800mg IBU: Could be many things but I would account the issue to current dental treatment and the filling may only be a slight part of it. I would start with 600-800mg ibuprofen (depending on medical issues or allergies) to control inflammation/pain (especially before bed). You might also be clenching from the treatment as well as a way of coping with other pain experienced during treatment. eval needed.

Trapezius Myalgia: Moist heat, passive stretching and Aleve (naproxen) OTC is usually the best choice for the sudden pain, stiffness, and dull aches that are characteristic of muscular-type pain. See your doctor if you have no improvement in your condition after 1 week.
