Most spotting,: even bleeding, especially in early pregnancy is harmless and the pregnancy will progress normally. Your previous ectopic pregnancy does not make me more worried about this. I think you can wait to see your GP IF the amount of blood remains modest i.e. you don't soak through a pad, you don't feel faint or have pain or a fever. But by wait, I mean you should be seen within a week or so. Best wishes.
