Ectopic last year & was treated with methotrexate at 3 wks preg. currently 6 wks preg and have had 3 transvag us. no sac seen. no ectopic seen. hcg is doubling. only 1 tube. doc says wait to see. scared for my safety. should i take methotrexate?

Since stress (pandemic, emotional, job, etc.) can delay ovulation, the "six weeks" determination may be overestimating the length of the pregnancy. Wait another 7-10 days and obtain another TV ultrasound and quantitative HCG to rule out an intrauterine pregnancy before treatment with methotrexate.
