Acne: If your skin has infected comedones then they are frequently treated with an oral antibiotic. Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day is frequently prescribed and is usually effective. Speak to your doc about it. There are many different approaches to treating acne.

Depends: At a listed age of 46 you should only treat acne under the guidance of your doc. It would be a bit unusual for your age group and other health issues should be ruled out.If you have some laying around and want to use it on your kid, bad idea.You could screw up something if s/he is not under proper medical supervision.
