EGCG is the active: ingredient in green tea. It will boost your metabolism so theoretically it can help weight loss. Practically speaking it is an aid to help w/proper meal plan and exercise. Peace and good health. EGCG capsules will provide more help than drinking the tea alone and you won't need to use the bathroom so much. See doc for appropriate food plan, possibly low carb and higher protein.
