Definitely not!: Please have your 7 month old examined by his/her doctor to see if any treatment is indicated. Cough and cold medications (other than acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever/pain) are not safe for a baby of this age and would not help. He/she should be checked to make sure his/her chest is clear and check for ear infection.
