What are considered well accepted advantages of becoming a pediatrician?

Many!: Since pediatricians work with children, you get to help those who can't really help themselves. I work with children (as a dentist) on a daily basis, and seeing them grow up healthy is a reward unto itself. It's a long road with residency and internships, but well worth the extra time if you enjoy working with kids.

Pediatrician: If you like children, this is the best thing to do. You see them grow, are a part of their life as they are developing, can actually keep them mentally and physically healthy for long... And the tiny hugs make your day!
