No: Orthodontic treatment can and will vary from office to office. First and foremost you have to have complete trust and confidence in the person providing treatment for you. If you are not comfortable with the treatment plan offered during the free consultation, you should seek a second opinion. However, be aware that the treatment plan may differ than the plan offered from the free consultation.

Not necessarily: You need to feel comfortable with your provider. The consultation is a way of getting you into the office to see if the "fit" is right. Choose the office that makes you feel most comfortable.

Consultations and Tx: Good day; You may have 6 + consultations concerning a specialty dental treatment. You are charged and pay for each consultation. Where and whom you select as dentist/ orthodontist is your decision! No guilt should be felt in reaching your decision! Take care!

It's an opinion: It's not a treatment plan. Don't expect one practitioner to follow another practitioner's opinion. Also, know that a fully qualified Orthodontist will complete your treatment faster and better than a GP who fits Ortho treatment in between cleanings, fillings, and caps. Compare credentials, seek the most qualified practitioner, and choose the best (not the most expedient) treatment.
